6.6 Hucker and Shark at Dried Meat Lake
I had a great sail today at home.  Louise and I are heading to Italy for two, one-week cycle adventures right after I get back from the gorge, so I have been busy pulling the boat, dock and hoist out of the water, winterizing the boat, pressure washer and hot tub as well as putting things away and generally getting ready for winter.

On top of that, I am trying to pack for the gorge - but hey - it was almost 20c and windy, so I had to go for a session.

I forget sometimes how much I like my 6.6 Hucker with the shark on our lake.  It is the perfect combination for total overpowered blasting, yet able to stay on the board if I get too close to shore and lose the wind as I jibe.  Lots of fun.  I did about 21km with a max speed of 45kph, and about 50 jibes.  Go ahead and count them if you like....

I leave tomorrow - but right now I am not sure what time.  It sounds like Kent will be travelling tomorrow as well  - and possibly Mike.  Ross is already in Hood River.  I am not sure yet if I will drive right through, or stop at Ritzville, or Tri-Cities.

I hope everyone has a safe journey.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone again in Hood River!
